Safety & regulation
The part most clinics leave out.
Cellular therapy is real medicine with real risk. This page states plainly how we are regulated, what can go wrong, who should not be treated, and what we will not claim. Read it before you book.
Regulatory standing
LEV Longevity operates under COFEPRIS, México's federal health authority. That means licensed facilities, inspected protocols, documented sourcing and an auditable record for every treatment. If a clinic cannot show you its licence, that is the answer.
Cleanroom & release testing
Biologics are processed in an ISO-classified GMP cleanroom using closed sterile systems. Each batch is tested for viability, sterility and endotoxin, and is batch-coded so it can be traced from lab to infusion chair.
Known risks and side effects
Common and usually short-lived
Injection or IV site soreness, mild fatigue, transient low-grade fever or headache in the 24–48 hours after infusion.
Uncommon
Allergic or inflammatory reaction, temporary flare of joint pain after intra-articular injection, nausea or flushing during NAD+ infusion.
Rare but serious
Infection, bleeding or nerve irritation from an injection or harvest, thrombotic events, or reaction requiring hospital care. Emergency support and imaging are on site.
Who is not a candidate
- · Active or recently treated cancer, unless cleared in writing by your oncologist
- · Active systemic infection or uncontrolled fever
- · Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- · Severe uncontrolled cardiac, hepatic or renal failure
- · Active bleeding disorders or anticoagulation that cannot be safely paused
- · Expectation of a cure for a condition where no evidence supports one
What we will not claim
We do not describe cellular therapy as a cure. We do not guarantee outcomes, reversal of ageing, or a specific number of years added. Where the evidence is early or mixed, we say so in your written protocol — including the option of not treating at all.
Every patient signs an informed-consent document listing the specific therapy, dose, known risks, alternatives and costs before anything is administered.
